Upon arrival
Look, there's a chap on the building! The hotel cannot be missed on this little road in the sixth arrondissement as it distinguishes itself with an impeccable white facade emphasised by a burgundy diamond...with a Jerôme Mesnager painting hanging upon it. And that's just the beginning!

Once you've passed through the door and its beautiful early twentieth century marquise, one arrives in a small lobby. On the left, one looks on to a library/lounge, on the right, the lounge with its fireplace precedes the reception.

The hotel evokes a very welcoming impression thanks to its decor and the little white characters and acrobats painted on the walls or on the stairs. The presence of wood, colour, wine and moleskin add a warm and classical note, although the forms are refined and generally have a contemporary allure.

The two lounges benefit from an informal and peaceful atmosphere thanks to the light coming from the large windows which look on to the street. When continuing to the back of the building, one finds an elegant bistro where breakfast is served. Further along, there is a projection room where art films are shown. This room has a more urban allure.

The décor mixes genres, materials, tanned leather armchairs and velvet matt sofas, white wood and floral wallpaper with small screens showing art films and a fireplace. The references to days gone by perfectly compliment the hotel's contemporary aspirations.

Gradually one discovers that the artists' little characters are cleverly placed in the least expected nooks and crannies. There are even acrobats in the stairwell and characters painted along the length of the lift!

The hotel offers a porter to take you to your room and a trendy guide to help you discover Paris, or to let you in on privileged access to the most exclusive golf clubs in the Paris area. In the evening, the ‘honesty bar' allows you to serve yourself an aperitif before going out to dinner.

The bedrooms have four styles: two are more masculine, in dark tones or white and beige, the Man Ray and the Ruhlmann, and two are more feminine with burgundy tones, the Parisienne and the Comédienne.

The colours and the bedheads characterise these styles: there is Lelièvre material with elegant motifs in the Man Ray, leather with a satin finish in the Ruhlmann, high, padded and in burgundy velvet in the Comédienne, and more classic and refined in the Parisienne.

The mixture of fabrics and textures is well carried out by the lighting which adapts to each style of room. The colours bring a real softness through playing on the two complementary tones every time.

The rooms, which are on the compact side, are equipped with a little lounge area and fitted with carpet, satin materials or velvet. The size is largely made up for by smart management of space, and especially by the numerous windows. The owners have even thought of those which look onto a small portion of the court, by decorating the opposite wall with one of Jérôme Mesnager's large white characters!

The bathrooms are pleasant, contemporary, with a one level shower or bath, and fashionable plumbing fixtures. They are all especially light as they all have a window. Almost every room has a separate toilet.

Concerning equipment and services, every room has a flat screen, music and film on demand and room service between 7pm and 11pm from the Wadja restaurant situated opposite the hotel.

Types of room

The hotel offers three types of bedroom: a Classic Double, a Club Double and other Superior rooms.

Their size and exposure differentiate them, but the services and equipment remain the same. Opening onto a small court or onto a quiet road, they all benefit from effective double glazing and are all quiet.

Having preferred to provide less choice to ensure the best products, the hotel offers a continental breakfast on the table which consists of hot drinks and dairy products, delicious fruit salads and mini pastries.

The orange juice is fresh and the little bouquets of flowers give a bit of energy to the three intimate and chic bedrooms where breakfast is served: the library, the bistro and the art film room.
