A haven of calm in the heart of London’s Little Venice

Situated in the rather smart area known as Little Venice, The Colonnade Hotel was once two large Victorian houses built in 1820. Soon after they were built, however, they were transformed into one grand building although it was not until after the Great War that it became a hotel.

In 1999, when it was being completely refurbished the decision was taken to return it to its Victorian roots and recreate the charm of a London family home.

The hotel has less than 50 rooms, a charming sitting room and a cat who guards the premises. All of which, along with a very warm welcome is designed to make you feel instantly at home.

The clientele

The hotel is perfect for spending the day in the capital and returning the short distance in the evening to enjoy the attractions Little Venice has to offer. Guests will all appreciate the slightly opulent but traditional as well as homely architecture of the two former houses.
