Steeped in tradition with a friendly atmosphere

Looking across to Lords, the first London cricket ground created at the start of the 19th century, the Dorset Square hotel has retained everything that makes it decidedly English. Completely revamped in 1996 and regular refurbishments since, the hotel has cultivated an air of timeless elegance with a personal touch. While the accent is on comfort, there is still room for period features.

Rooms are colour-themed with patterned wallpaper much in evidence, plain colour carpets, heavyweight fabrics and country-style furniture. The staff are relaxed but always willing to be helpful to guests. With only 37 rooms you will not be surprised when they call you by name and have even remembered which room you are in.

The clientele

The haunt of bankers and French advertising executives who consider it their London home for the week, the hotel will find favour with guests who like to enjoy the finer things in life, want personal service and a warm welcome.
